Working on a piece to illustrate my favorite section of Desiderata.
Galaxy
A galaxy of longing stretched out for miles against the indigo of her soul. To no avail, she tried lassoing the stars; pulling them to her chest. She wondered for how much longer she would be empty. Finally, she withdrew the rope, releasing celestial beings, her soul, her longings to return to the corners of the universe. Her upturned, white, moon face shimmered with star-dust and knowing, for a moment, that all is well, all is one, and never empty.
